I am trying to share with you some of the physical analogies I have thought
about - they are not perfect, but I think work to establish some of the
points.
If you read the first paras of the Organon Hn tries to describe the VF.
I view it as a manager for the whole organism.
When it is working perfectly, it has no limits to its action and enables the
organism to achieve the higher reasons for which it was created. It will
maintain the organism in a perfect manner with measured responses for every
eventuality. [Healthy Mind in a Healthy Body goes the old Eastern saying - I
think the reverse is also true as they are just parts of the one system and
NOT separate.]
However, VF can be deranged by outside influences. Imagine a train that has
been de-railed.
The destruction starts immediately and at least some wheels and some of the
rail and parts of the rolling stock will get damaged. Depending on the
exact conditions we can have a minor de-railment or extensive one when the
whole thing ends up totally wrecked. VF has the exceptional ability that
given the right conditions it can get itself back on the rails and continue
on its life journey.
Miasm
If you look an onion that has started to sprout in storage, you can of
course see the green shoots. If onions are properly stored, they do not
sprout.
If you were to cut the onion perpendicular to the shoots at the middle of
the onion then you can see the rings. Here you will notice the outside skin,
a couple of brown rings may be, some normal rings and then at least one
brown soft ring.
If you were to peel the onion on layer at a time you would get the same
result.
I imagine this inner brown ring to be miasm. It is stopping us from getting
to the heart of the onion. Forget about the dynamic aspect of the remedy,
but in a way it is stopping the action of the remedy from getting to the
heart of the onion.
And in some cases we find that we are literally having to use a series of
remedies and in effect peeling one layer at a time.
With some onions we see a number such brown rings and again in my analogy,
we are dealing with different miasms at different times. Some of these
layers are not noticeable from the outside (latent).
Which brings me to acutes which are the reflection of latent miasm. In
curing an acute, you are being lead to the treatment of the Chronic.
If you also examine the brown rings, you can sometime see that in effect
they are rotting and there may be some bad smell and also evidence of
bacterial grown only on these brown ring and those close by. So these brown
rings are letting more damaging things to enter the onion.
[So simply put, if we did not have our original miasm(s) we should be
resistance to external disease influences.]
We the ask ourselves how come this wonderful manager can be so destructive.
Imagine a dam keeper who has been given the weather forecast that lots of
rain is coming their way and soon the flood waters will become his problem.
He has to make room for the flash flood. But his dam may be quite full
already.
What he would need to do is to open the valves and get rid of water he
already has else the high amount of water will go over top of the dam and
then there will be no dam! The whole of the country down river will be gone!
So by using 'controlled flooding' he saves the dam and the areas down river
although damaged are not destroyed.
Please forgive the simple analogies - they are the result of a simple mind
tackling a big concept.
On Healthy death - Death is our right! We all have to and NEED to die. (You
cannot get to heaven unless you die!)
However we find some people VERY frightened by this and completely
disturbed. Then it is fascinating that a remedy like Ars can bring ease and
control and the patient can slip away without distress (or indeed make a
recovery!). So there is a difference between someone dying absolutely full
of fear, or on the other hand in peace with themselves and those around
them.
