1. Which organ is mostly affected in the patients who
need Abies-n?
Answer:The most important organ which is affected by
Abies-n is stomach. It produces dyspepsia especially
in old persons. There is pain in stomach which always
comes on after eating. Heartburn and waterbrash are
also important features of the remedy. Gastric
symptoms are aggravated by tea and tobacco.

2. At what age Abies-n is mostly indicated?
Answer: Abies-n is commonly used in gastric problems
of old people.

3. What is the important SRP (Strange, Rare, Peculiar)
of Abies-n?
Answer: The most important SRP of Abies-n is
'sensation as if a hard-boiled egg had lodged in
cardiac end of stomach'. The patient may experience
and express similar sensations like 'as of something
sticking in esophagus towards its lower end' or a
constriction above the stomach pit 'as if everything
were knotted up'. The patient may also feel a similar
painful sensation in chest 'as from something lodged
in chest and had to be coughed up'.

4. What is the relationship of Abies-n stomach pains
and eating?
Answer: Stomach pains in Abies-n always come on after
eating. 'Worse after eating' is the most important
modality of Abies-n.

5. How is heart affected in Abies-n?
Answer: Both tachycardia and bradycardia may appear.
The patient may also feel sharp cutting pains in
heart. These symptoms are almost always with peculiar
dyspeptic symptoms of Abies-n which may all be caused
by use of tea or tobacco (esp in old people).

6. What is the effect of tea and tobacco in Abies-n
patient?
Answer: Tea and tobacco are causative factors for
Abies-n state. Both cause aggravation in these
patients.

7. How is the Abies-n patient in mental sphere?
Answer: The Abies-n patient is depressed with a kind
of prostration of mind which makes him unable to think
or study. He or she is dull during the day and
sleepless and wakeful at night.

8. How is the appetite deranged in Abies-n?
Answer: There is total loss of appetite in morning and
increased appetite at noon and night.

9. What is the common name of Abies-n?
Answer: The common name for Abies-n is 'Black Spruce'.
