autism, vaccines and heavy metals

Hi,
My name is Leah, I am the mother of a child with the dx of autism. I
came across your site just by chance in my search for information on
a homeopathic remedy I was interested in. I believe as many parents
do that my little boy was damaged by his vaccinations, he is heavy
metal toxic and detoxing using natural supplements and DMSA, an FDA
approve med for lead poisoning. I am always opened to ideas and
thoughts, and even doctors who can help in anyway. Our son has come
far from the original symptoms that emerged in his early years. Even
5 years ago, still using a bottle, in diapers, afraid of the world,
self injurious, and injured others, almost non verbal then. He is
verbal now, has made miraculous strides since those early years, he
is now 10, not like his 10 year old peers but doing much better every
day. He is not yet recovered, but I believe can he can come very
close with more interventions. Any input from or suggestions for a
doctor near us that would be helpful, I would be grateful,

Thank you, I have read and have a copy of that one, there is also one
at houstonchronicle.com, pretty well done. It views both sides. There
are also congressional hearings going on right now with some
wonderful doctors and researchers speaking on behalf of the many
damaged children all over the world,

Leah, look at www.homeopathicdirectory.com , a website sponsored by the Council for Homeopathic Certification. It includes homeopaths certified in classical homeopathy as well as naturopaths who are members of the Homeopathic Academy of Naturopathic Physicians.

I hope you do pursue this, for homeopathy can often really help these kids. Paul Herscu, who pretty much specializes in treating autistic kids now, should be coming out with a book on the subject soon.
