Peter Chappell
Hello Colleagues
I have had the honour of being taught by Peter.
He is a genuine person and I don't think he is in to Hom for the money. He
organised the training of many homoeopaths in both Romania and Bosnia. May
God Bless him.
He is a founding member and also a Fellow of Society of Homoeopaths in UK
and I understand that he holds card no. 001 !
He has been secretive about this remedy for his own reasons. I think if it
was me I would be shouting it from he roof tops but perhaps he wants to be
absolutely sure before he did that. If he makes some money out of it, I
certainly would not have a problem with it, he would deserve it and VERY
good luck to him.
As he is obviously short of cash, how about us raising funds for him. Any
ideas? Also does any one fancy joining him (self financed of course) for a
spell in Ethiopia?
Does any one think that the HIV/AIDS problem has its roots in the plans of
the 'committee of 300'??
Blessings, Peace and good healing
Soroush

Re: Peter Chappell
Hi Finrod and all,
I too wish I knew what Peter's thoughts are on this -- but I deeply
sympathize! I can think of so many possible ways it could "go wrong" for
him to release the idea that "this remedy cures AIDS"!!!
For one, I have to assume that, no matter how good a "fit" the remedy is to
the disease (and I'm thinking that before we could say *that*, we'd have to
see it working on different populations, as well as different individuals,
with well-documented, long-term follow-up), AIDS should not be treated by
someone underqualified -- they have to know the disease, and know how to
respond to changes that occur -- or, God forbid, self-treated. But people
are so desperate on the subject of AIDS, that would surely happen.
Second, and probably more ominously, I think that such a claim would bring
all sorts of "watchdogs" down upon him, us, homeopathic pharmacies, maybe
lead to the remedy being banned. Sound ridiculous? (Does anyone remember
the name of the very safe and effective nutritional supplement that was
banned because of (really!) a *contaminated* batch?) I wish I could still
think it ridiculous... I think that in all likelihood, sad as it seems, he
is doing the right thing.
Neurotically,
Shannon

Re: Peter Chappell
Rather than speculate, when no one knows what we are speculating about, let's
all read Peter's article when it comes into print in December, LINKS 4/02,
and continue this discussion then.
I have already read this article while proofing it for LINKS, and can assure
you, it is thought proving.

Re: Peter Chappell
Dear Zaidee
I have had the honour of being taught by Peter when I was attending London
College of Classical Homoeopathy.
Peter is a Fellow of Society of Homeopaths and has the card number 001 - so
he is a founding father of the society.
Peter was an engineer and an inventor before he became a homoeopath.
He has spent a lot of his time training a number of people in different
countries - Romania and Bosnia are just a few.
He is working on some novel remedies - the one I am very excited about is
his AIDS remedy which he has tried in parts of Africa with very good
results.

Soroush
