Re: question
My personal experience with such situations is that conditions that
I have disappear with appropriate constitutional remedies. On rare
occasions there has been a skin condition that occurred as part of the
healing. I have had some wart like growths on my legs since child hood
alone with some condylomata (beauty marks). One of those black dots
began to open up under 1 remedy. Over a number of years it opened and
closed each time getting liter and smaller till now gone. However, other
spots that are king of a strawberry color have developed. The warts have
been persistent and I assume the level of dis-ease that caused them has
never been touched.

Now my original questioning has become more personal. I have a something on my
face that has come since I started a new remedy(about a month ago). At first I
thought it was a tiny scab and was trying to scratch it off. I put calendula
on it. At the same time a tiny little area on my arm where i've had a flat
spot where the skin was different....looking a little bit like an area where
there had been a burn and the skin is slightly shiny. I think it had something
to do with the sun..but a tiny little bump or scab has appeared within that
spot at the same time as the face nodule. Of course I have written my
prescriber about this(she recently graduated from homeopathy school but
haven't heard from her yet).
BUT: ...you would think this might be a good thing But it is not anything
that I've ever seen before on my body. I have know people who get little skin
cancers on their ears and get them removed. I have to assume the worst since
that is my nature. I'm going to die. Does anyone have an experience with these
things that appear on our bodies as we age as far as coming and going with
homeopathy or coming and staying?

Re: question
Roger
there is a difference between suppression and palliation and healing.
I don't know what went on with your wife. But antibiotics never cure. Sometimes, maybe, as you said, help you buy time, especially if not worked with homeopathy from the beginning.

Re: question
Sheri,
I can't be sure what happened either, except she stopped moving in the direction of DEATH very suddenly after the shot. I think that sleep is greatly underrated and she was able to get to sleep and healed herself.

Re: question
Roger --
Maybe it's also possible that what appeared to be flu was simply something else, bacterial in nature? But your explanation seems plausible also.
I think that, in considering the question of whether or not antibiotics (or any medication) can actually cure, it's important to consider, well, "What Is To Be Cured"? No medication will cure from anything that is not related to the thing that the medicine eliminates; so e.g. will remove the infection, but will not remove susceptivity to "germs", for instance. Nor their other chronic imbalances.
And will not leave the person *stronger* than they were before, and generally speaking will leave them less strong. (Messes with "good bacteria"; stresses of the illness and of the medication; failure to halt the progression of the deeper disorder, etc.)
BUT as I recall Julian / JW saying once, when the house is on fire, you don't want to get obsessive about saving the piano: When the need for help is URGENT, sometimes you need use what tools are available, first; to simply put out the fire first, and then work on clean-up as needed.
Roger's wife would certainly have benefited from follow-up homeopathic care. But since antibiotics were the best tool available *at the time*, surely that was a better choice than doing nothing!

Re: question
I am trying to find a remedy for a baby who is terrified of getting into
a bath. She was fine the first bath in her life, age 13 months now, but
never since. What I could get was the grandmother has a similar fear
but she has alzheimers and cannot be interviewed. The mother can only
report the grandmother's fear but never knew how it came about.
Am thinking this might be a nosode/miasmatic case. Any experience?

Re: question
What is the rest of her temperament and behavior like?
Any support for Stramonium or Lyssin?

Re: question
I initially thought of Lyssin but felt it was a knee jerk reaction and thought to hold back on it.
Her temperament is pretty good. She gets held a great deal and mother calls her snuggly.
She can, however, entertain herself. Despite mother's comment, I don't see her as exceptionally inquisitive. She will go to new people but only momentarily, then wants to go back to mom or her brothers.
She was born with a long body and is still a long baby. Sleeps well and eats well.
Began to walk right after her b'day. I see her as a cautious baby when trying things out.

Re: question
The first question to come to mind is: what happened during or after that first bath that may have frightened her? I'd think about Aconite rather than any of the fear-of-water remedies since she did okay with the first bath.

Re: question
Hm, so the fearful reaction to baths is the only "symptom”?
Well, just poking—can you describe how she reacts, and what they do (how do they clean her), and what does she do then?
