Greetings to all, a few requests reg. posting procedures / habits : I just found in my mailbox a digest of at least one whole week's accumulated postings' length. That moved me to write this: 1. Please don't ever include some 100 kb of stuff in one mail, as happened twice last day, the same old whole digest twice. Those of us who are on digest CANNOT click away single items. It fills up a lot of space with junk; I can't delete the whole digest either when it contains an interesting reply to my own request. It should be avoidable. 2. Please don't refer to "Digest Nr. xy" as a header. I often only have time for a quick looking through mail from three diferent homoeo-lists and select posts by topic. I'd not pay attention then to sth. not indicating in advance what it may be about, even when it may relate to a thread I am myself participating in. 3. The same would apply to posts entitled just and only "case", as it leaves to everyone's guess which of several current case discussions it may perhaps refer to. 4. It does not seem to me to be necessary to include routinely several complete, sometimes lengthy former mails with a lot of rubrics, in one post. A question of new inf. in relation to space. Who participates in the discussion will have saved them, recognizable by header. If necessary everything can be read in the archives in every detail at any time by everyone. - My opinion in this case. Regards, Panthera
