It was written: "...the tree for some reason has not been identified..." / and later "...is called Umbulowo".... - From what I read it was unidentified ( scientifically ) on good purpose, for experience had taught these traditional healers that their wisdom would be most wellcome in the west, and then be shamelessly commercially exploited. Sure they are right, as much as I also would like to read up on this in bot. lit.. "Umbulawo" apparently describes a method in their language, not a specific plant. - If your lecture notes provide any information not available through the link already posted, sure, hasten to enlighten us, at least I would be very interested.
