Cerebrinum and Epiphysinum

Looking at an old school paper case, I came across Cerebrinum and Epiphysinum remedies. From the case notes, it was not clear why they were chosen as supportive therapies. My Materia Medica info for these does not address an issue of when to give them and how the action is different in high (30C, 200C) and when in low (4C) potencies. I would greatly appreciate an opportunity to learn if anyone is willing to share more about these remedies and their applications.
