Re: California Passes Mandatory Vaccinations Bill For All Adults
Well, it is worth a try, nothing to lose but time.
But let me add this, the view from the "outside": with the "ambiance" now existing in the WH, the Congress, the Senate and your whole country, even if Melania agreed to it and if T would listen to her, I fear it will immediately be dismissed as another of his "ideas" and be blocked and pooh-poohed, then seen as something evil coming out from him (I am trying to suppress my own opinions here...).
I would suggest to wait until after the elections, then act on whoever is in power. Now is such an unstable time, it would be akin to build a house during an earthquake.

O/T question.............
If a Company is bankrupt, would you hire someone who's had bankruptcy and monetization experience?

I do think we all on Minutus want what's best for America and the entire world, and especially we want to safeguard Homeopathy for ourselves and the world.
Some perspective as to what we are up against:
Some economists, notably David Stockman - Reagan's former budget dir & no fan of Trump,
says America is in big trouble with 23 Trillion of debt and danger of a bad crash.
When American economy crashes, the world economy will be devastated - so maybe we have some pinnacle of importance - that is just the way it is. China's economy is propped up, operatchicks there have built buildings that will never be used and they keep building - crash gotta come there, too.
Poor and middle class suffer the most in economic downturn.
The current business cycle expansion started poorly after 2009 and sputtered thru to 2016 without much benefit to anyone, except politicians on the take. It definitely did not serve the people.
Trump has wisely or un-wisely embraced this aging business cycle expansion after his election and delivered the best economy in 50 years and energy independence, criminal justice reform, opportunity zones in poor communities that bring in industry - result: lowest unemployment ever for blacks & hispanics. (Oh my, how racist !)
He is continuing to try to grow the economy and avoid a crash - with little help from the obstructionists.
Yes, he may be accused of bullying the world. Yes, he may be trying to get them to step up and pay their share, fix their problems, allow fair trade policies, avoid need for war w Iran / NK. (Bullying racist)
He is now the only President that has dared to take on the drug industry over their extreme high prices charged to the American consumer - drug industry spends $280 million a year on lobbying to keep regulatory high prices - probably goes into politician's pockets, where else?
Trump appointed former CEO of Eli Lilly, knows how the drug industry works - he just unveiled plan to allow American pharmacies to buy from companies that make same drugs for sale on Canadian market at far lower prices. (Must be a racist motive in there somewhere.) Disrupter Trump is disrupting the flow of power and money to owners of the drug companies, mostly super-wealthy, and maybe the FDA.
(Why is there a drug company representative on the board of every media company, except one - control of the people ! and maybe squelch Homeopathy, too?)
A little bullying now may save the world from a dire crash. Trump's idea is to grow the American and world economies and thereby dwarf all deficits. The tax cuts for the rich have resulted in far greater economic activity - now reported result is much higher tax collections. Tariff's give more cash, too.
Maybe it can work against all odds - and maybe not. But that is what he is trying to do.
(What a bunch of right wing dribble.)
I was a Kennedy Democrat. I met John Kennedy, spoke with him, shook hands, and voted for him.
Kennedy did not want war in Vietnam, but there is lot of money to be made in war. Kennedy was going to abolish the CIA for trying to start a big war in Vietnam. Did the CIA get him first? Money talks, we had the war.
Big money has been running the country. Most Presidents have been on board with that.
Trump doesn't need their money and won't take orders. Trump is disrupting their flow of power and money - they hate him, their owned media hates him, the embedded deep-state hates him, the people love him. Maybe we will again have Government of, by, and for the people.
I got my BS in electrical engineering - somehow learned how to write, too. Worked on NASA programs at Cape Kennedy and - at a static firing test facility did static firing testing of stages of the Saturn rocket - was in the test control center with engine cut-off button in my hand in case of malfunction. Ya, I did initiate cut-off, but actually data showed the computers detected the problem, too, and initiated first.
(What's this got to do with bullying, racism, or Homeopathy? Not much, but I have been studying Homeopathy for 40 years along with natural healing, science, economics, business.)

Yes Tanya, but there is a difference between presenting and using the experiences and actions of other countries and nations, and presenting one nation as the pinnacle of importance.
As you properly wrote, this is bullying and the best way to repel others.

Hi Leilanae,
Are you asking whether that bankrupt company might choose to hire someone with experience in being personally bankrupt, or someone with experience in helping others to avoid or mitigate it? That could be two very different groups of people.

Thank you, Chuck! Big Pharma is doing here the same thing it has been doing for years - dividing the opposition. Look at us - instead of thinking what policy will benefit homeopathy, we exchange opinions about politicians without ever mentioning the prospect of the benefit to homeopathy and vaccine safety movement with one political party over the other. Does anyone have statistics on how the vote is split when homeopathy, health freedom and vaccine exemption restricting bills come up? That would settle hot rhetoric and fake news shaming on this list and would be the only appropriate political discussion, by the way.

Hi Shannon,
My comment was prompted by this comment:
Post#107806 "....................... And although ................. doesn’t “need” anyone else’s money, THAT is ALL he thinks about. He tries to monetize everything he does."
So, it sounds like he's a natural at monetization and has had some experience with bankruptcy.
That's it, that's all, not arguing, just commenting.

Leilanae

Ah. Well, if you google “trump bankruptcies”, you’ll find a lot of information about that. He does indeed have experience with both monetization and bankruptcy, but maybe not exactly in a good way.

Hi Leilanae!
Since all that is part of what I feel is way too divisive and too far off-topic, I’ve answered you privately.
Best wishes!
