Does anybody have experience with treating fairly clear evidence of venereal disease in the parental generation? I think this is a case where I might use F Potencies.
I have a patient 55 year old woman with a father who was manic depressive and extremely dependent on pharmaceutical drugs. His behavior also sounds like venereal disease.: promiscuous, creative, extremely paranoid, violent.... She’s having congestive sinus headaches. I gave her Medorrinum 200c. The headaches got worse during the first few weeks and then better now. Much better.
We are actually trying to cure writer’s block. I’m going to talk to her in a few days and if she doesn’t give me some clear symptoms of other remedies, which I don’t think she’s going to do, I’m thinking I should move to the F potency of Medorrinum. She’s not a clear picture of Medorrinum except for being very vivacious, compassionate, communicative, intelligent, depressed, and compulsive about getting work done. She has lots of rheumatic symptoms, plantar bone spur, scoliosis, hypothyroidism, warts, and sinus congestion which only produces clear mucus and a cough. That could be lots of remedies. So l will give the F potencies until she start showing symptoms of something else.
Does that sound right to you Dr. Roz? Give F potency. Normally I would give a 200 c periodically.
Best,
Ellen

I would be cautious using nosode that low. Hahnemann treated the psora first.

Thanks Maria.
I did not think of the low potency angle. I am eager to hear what Dr. Roz has to say.
He is lecturing in London. Not attending a Kiwi Barbeque. Shucks. But, I bet lecturing is more enjoyable than a Kiwi party.
I have been treating her for colds and flus for the past year. Lots of them. She is chronically Sycotic not psoric. Not sure what you mean by Hahnemann treated Psora first. Dr. Masters teaches that when a syphilitic or sycotic case reaches psoric symptoms, then you are making progress. His teaching suggest that there is a hierarchy of pathological depth implicit in miasm theory. From worse the better Syphilitic to Sycotic to Psoric. Her colds and flus are psoric, but they are odd because for example periodic return of fever, or cough that keeps coming despite the lack of malaise, fever etc. Plus the rheumatic symptoms which are sycotic. Plus warts and the desire to add more creativity to her already creative life.
Best,
Ellen
