Dear All!
What do you think on the subject of using homeopathic remedies for 3 y.o. with a transplanted liver. The transplant was done 2 yrs ago due to Biliary Atresia.
They can not give anything that stimulates her immune system for fear of new liver being rejected. Yet,they don't want to give conventional drugs for everything. Would you even consider taking this case?

Re: Homeopathy for child with transplanted liver
I would do it but extremely carefully, one dose at a time and selecting my remedies on their known immune system stimulation basis, although in fact that does not make sense because a remedy stimulates or act on the whole mind and body, so that would be acrobatic and thin ice skating...

Re: Homeopathy for child with transplanted liver
Being on anti-rejection immunosuppressants, the child has a tendency to pneumonia, fungal infections, and parasites. I am trying to work the food angle for now. Making sure her parents understand there should be no sugar and processed food in the house etc. I also will request they receive some sort of "go ahead" from a medical primary care provider to give her probiotics. If only there would be a way to convince them to do sophisticated microflora stool testing! According to her PCP, since she does not have chronic diarrhea and is not losing weight she is fine. Not sure what Would convince them to pay for stool testing...
