Has anyone used this?
I got a Turapur hydrogen water filter pitcher. The water that initially comes out is fine (I haven’t developed either an attraction or an aversion to it)—but after some is poured into a glass and sits out for… not sure how long, but certainly by the next day at most, it takes on an extremely unpleasant taste, sort of like hot metal. Keeping the water airtight (or something like that) seems to prevent the change in taste, but it weirds me out so much that I’ve stop[ed using the pitcher entirely. Anybody have experience with this sort of thing?
Thanks,
Shannon

Can you give us a link to where your referencing? Does OT stand for oxygen tritium? Does it add or subtract hydrogen from water? I'd like to know. Thank you for posting this

Re: OT-Hydrogen water
Oops sorry, I’m just using “OT” to stand for “Off-Topic”.
I guess this is it:
https://orders.turapur.com/TUR_turapitc ... r=2&h=true
Warning, it’s a sales pitch… And I guess tat’s the only information they have on the site. I think I’d bought it from a mailing, maybe a year or two back, and they sure made it sound like a miracle! And maybe it is, I wouldn’t know…
Ummm who is it that was into hydrogen water….
It’s sort of interesting, when you prep the filter and run the water through it, it kind of hisses softly, which I gather is the magnesium reacting with the water(???), which I something think is supposed to be where the Hydrogen comes from… I could be completely misrepresenting; just found it interesting that it hisses! (Quietly.)
And here’s their more general site: https://turapur.com/
I wish I did have more information about it… All I can really say is that (a) their sales literature made it sound AMAZING, and (b) once it sits out for too many hours, the taste is… well, yuk. On the other hand, when it’s sitting IN the pitcher—which fits together rather tightly—and you drink it fairly promptly, it tastes fine. Very odd!
