Why no emails at aol?

There have been huge problems with yahoo groups for weeks now with many people not being able to send and some members in a group getting the messages and others not. Some groups seem to be worse affected than others.
Many yahoo groups are moving over to io groups https://groups.io/ (the man behind it used to work for yahoo groups in the past) and the experiences are very positive so far.

Can we move over without everyone having to re-subscribe?
