[ARH-Hom] The unscientific background of Skepticism

Post by Soroush Ebrahimi »

This is the very interesting background and history of skepticism. It is worth reading as it explains in simple terms where these people are coming from, and why we should not expect too much sense about them, or the ‘science’ they appear to believe it.

I have tweeted and facebooked this, and it might be useful if as many people as possible did the same, to demonstrate to people just were the criticism of homeopathy is coming from. This is what I wrote - for information
"Homeopathy. If you've heard that 'there is 'no evidence' that it works, or that it is 'just placebo' you are reading something written by a 'skeptic' who supports pharmaceutical medicine. This is the sad anti-scientific background and history of skepticism.
