Ignore previous post. Got it thru 2nd link.
I wish what you argue would be true. Problem is that NHS will be bolstered by Big Pharma until
the system is set up for privatized medical care; ie, the insanely expensive and often useless American
system of private insurance. Here we are fighting for a single payer, govt run system. Of course that
won't work either as Big Pharma will again maintain control of prices and foisting toxic and useless
remedies on the public.
My concern is whether the holistic protocol practitioners will get it together to mount a serious
battle to go up against the pharma money and power. As you know I have often lobbied for homeopaths
and other holistic people to a) organize together, and b) to develop stronger political legs. On both
points people have informed me that neither of these approaches are tenable due to lack of money, lack
of mutual understandings, and most importantly, unwillingness of homeopaths to engage publicly. I am
quite familiar with these mindsets of people as they are quite common here, too. But unless there is
a willingness to deal with a different perspective; ie, getting out of the nice comfy and pleasant offices
and becoming loud and political, I fear homeopathy will suffer a dire future.

No Tanya, although the NHS might like to.
It means NHS England is going to stop funding homeopathy in England, which is going to be a real problem for doctor homeopaths working within the NHS (that’s what the first video is about), and the future of the remaining homeopathic hospitals, for example, in London, Bristol, Liverpool.
We can still practice privately, most homeopathy in the UK is delivered that way anyway, there is very little homeopathy on offer paid by NHS, and in many areas none at all.
However, it is an important issue, and there is going to be a big fight about it.
The link is a Facebook page and I don’t quite know how to link a particular posting from the British Homeopathic Page, but this is the page.

There is lots of information here on what is happening, including information on the legal case that BHA and my organisation, the ARH, will now take forward against the decision.

I began this whole thing months ago by telling you all that the plan
of the nwo is to put an end to homeopathy. The response - complete
silence. I tried to educate you all with facts on how the nwo is
operating in society and how they intend to do this. The response -
Anger, hatred, accusations, and the usual nwo game plan - call him a
racist.
I do not give up until defeat is certain. A possible FINAL warning is
that the nwo/CIA axis employs trolls and character assassins at every
level. These trolls serve no purpose except to sow hatred and
division. There is one troll on this list who robotically repeats the
same mantra day after day. She never answers the questions or
addresses the issues raised. She does nothing more than accuse and
work to upset others. She is an attention seeking troll of the first
order.
Really, I have done my job. There are many thousands of us all across
the planet who are here for the awakening. All we can do is what we
are assigned to do - provide information to the people to help them to
wake up and throw off the emotional, mental, and physical chains that
have bound them for many centuries. You can see us everywhere but you
will not always get the message - right away. I know that some of you
have gotten it or at least, begun to get it. Others have totally
missed the point. Others are dozing and unable to awaken. Some are
just full of hatred and - the key word you must know in order to
understand - ACCUSATION. It is by accusation that the darkness
attempts to suppress the light. I have not spoken yet of the
metaphysics of what we are dealing with here but that will present
itself on its own. But I must tell you that you are running out of
time.
Open your minds. Save yourselves.
That's all that I am saying.

Stupid decision, but perhaps no more stupid than many others being made these days to the supposed “benefit” of the populace.
I find your arguments pretty compelling, Steve. In the best of all possible worlds, you shouldn’t have to make them, because the NHS would be familiar with the work of Dorothy Shepherd, Margaret Tyler, and many other illustrious British homeopaths and have an active knowledge of how effective homeopathy is. Instead, they’re just trying to protect their turf — and pharmaceutical profits.
Perhaps the ARH should fight back by publicizing how many cases of botched conventional treatment you’ve had to clear up. Drugs that were misprescribed, not monitored, had disastrous side effects, killed patients, etc. I, for one, am sick of homeopaths always having to argue for the efficacy of our treatment — why can’t we point out the inefficacy of theirs?
Has the ARH thought of offering a small-scale insurance program that would parallel the NHS but offer alternative treatments only?
Peace,
Dale
