Putin
Re: Putin
While I think it can be fun to come up with prescriptions based on pure observation from afar, ultimately this is a sterile exercise. Absent information about physical problems, one is prescribing in a vacuum.
Yeah, it’s easy to see Trump’s narcissism, lack of empathy, etc., but if Platina were the remedy he needs, wouldn’t we also be seeing neurological manifestations? Maybe he’s gone beyond Platina and is in a Fluoric acid state. The latter would certainly explain the decor he likes — all glitz and gold, which has nothing to do with Platina’s love of beauty and style — as well as the mean-spirited destructiveness that seems to be his chief appeal to his base.
If anyone is taking what I’ve written seriously, get a grip! I’m merely showing how easy it is to chase one’s tail, even when dealing with reams of publicly available information.
Peace,
Dale

What I like about these make believe cases is that they often spotlight various remedy characteristics in memorable ways.

that's the trouble - most people don't present with memorable things

Re: Putin
Tanya, you made that assertion that whites are racist. I objected to that as it is an attack on my character. You haven't explained, let alone apologized that you were talking generally, and that you do not have reason to think I am racist. So I thereby take it you put me in the same basket. If that isn't the height of judgemental error, then what is.
I am sorry if you met the wrong men, and have been at the receiving end of racial prejudice, but... I was not there.
If you operate with such preconceptions, surely at some stage you might read situations incorrectly and see racism where there is none. Don't quote me reams of examples like I'm an idiot. Of course some instances would be valid. But speak to a psychologist about the effect perceptions have on our reality. Homeopaths know about this.
What I find most unusual but not surprising is that if I, on any list, said "the following trait is negative, and it's a black thing", I would have the moderator banning me instantly. There would be an outcry over "this racist person".
But here on Minutus? Seems like white bashing is allowed. Strange, in all my years on this list and lyghtforce before, the thought of a person's race never entered my mind. How did this list degenerate into a soapbox?
Perhaps I need to rethink things and find another list.

Re: Putin
My understanding is that if you are white you are racist in America. You cannot avoid it as you profit from racism every day
whether you are conscious of your privilege or not. This is one of the hardest things for white people to understand but if
you don't want to support racism then you really need to learn about your privilege that you take for granted--that is one
of the privileges of being white in a white supremacist society: you don't have to think about it! People of color never have
that privilege and it adds a level of stress that underlies their entire life. One manifestation is the higher rates of prostate
cancer in Black men compared to rates in white men of equal socio-economic status. I believe the rate of white men with
prostate cancer is something like 10% of that of Black men. Just one example for you to think about.
And opposed to taking offense, it would be useful to open yourself up to learning something form someone with much more
experience than you on the issue.

Re: Putin
having more privileges does not make you a racist.
And what does prostate cancer have to do with racism.

Re: Putin
I tried hard not to enter into this conversation. I live in USA for the past 20+ years. Came here after the breakup of ISSR. That said, I do not feel that I am qualified to talk about things and personalities here since I do not have time to devote to deconstruction of lies in US main stream media, so hats off to those outside of US having such a strong opinion on US presidents, I am sure you trust your sources of information. I did not vote for Trump (seemed to me too manipulative, although smart) or for Hillary (seemed too manipulative, but also very stupid) - pick a remedy to your liking - it is a futile exercise since we do not have enough modalities. If Berny would run instead of Hillary, I would definitely vote for him. Would not suggest a remedy for him for the same reason - what do we know?! Would anyone on this loop given a remedy based on what someone else said about another adult not present in the conversation? A thorough intake process is still a requirement for careful remedy consideration, isn’t it?
Re: Putin I have a strong opinion and intend to share it. With all due respect I would ask people on this loop to realize that no matter how much they think they have good information that helps them to form an opinion on Putin, every time they say "Putin is bad", 80 to 90% of Russian population finishes this sentence in their heads this way: "...because he did not let the rest of the world to destroy Russia after break up of Soviet Union". Before Putin, in the 90-s regular, common people where dying from hunger, drugs and crime in HUGE numbers. He stopped it. I do not know and don't really care what else he did or does. This alone saved him a place in many hearts and I am sure in Heaven as well. Those who he stopped from gutting what's left of Russian after break up of Soviet Union would give a lot to get rid of him. Maybe these are the people we should analyze instead.

Re: Putin
Victoria
I have heard positive things about Putin in Russia. Most I get from reading foreign news services or independent journalists.
The US made Russia a target ever since the revolution there. This country is positively phobic about socialism so Russia had
to be villanized and always is despite the fact that Russia has fought alongside the US thru 2 major wars and lost more people
I think than all the other countries involved in the Western axis.
