Neurotypical behavior in Autistic child during fever?

Post by Sheri Nakken »

you see that a lot as homeopaths - the strongest disease is what is expressed by the body and what has been going on goes into the background. Sometimes we will see cures from acutes and sometimes old symptoms return as stronger acute leaves

We can only get sick with one thing at a time - like you never get
measles and mumps together for example. You have a chronic disease
like alzheimers and you rarely will see any of them with acute
illnesses like colds. The body is dealing with the strongest disease.
Sometimes though an acute disease that 'comes along' IS stronger than
the chronic disease and then you see symptoms of the acute disease
and the chronic disease goes in the background. This what you are
seeing with a child with autism - they actually 'get' an acute
disease, stronger disease, or a fever and they don't look as autistic
- some even speak or other things - but then when the acute disease
is better, they are back with the original symptoms of autism. But
sometimes the acute disease can actually help to cure them. Its a
concept that we know as homeopaths and see all the time. The body
just doesn't produce symptoms for everything that come at it - only
the strongest thing. I hope that helps a little.

Yes! I read somewhere that if you had not had an acute for a couple of years you should worry about your mental symptoms!!
