become sensitised by contact.. One other allergic crisis happened
subsequent to a bath with pungent oil (non identified). Symptoms start with
raised white welts (like nettle rash) extreme intense itching (< cold water)
causing hysteria, puffing of eyelids and face, weak feeling, difficult and
shallow breathing. If contact is prolonged then there is collapse with
brief loss of consciousness. There is no such reaction with adult animals
or with other babies such as kittens, dogs, birds etc. No other known
serious allergies - bees wasps etc. Possible allergies to some foods,
though this is not proven, but this teenage girl has had eczema in varying
degrees since infancy.
I am wanting to know of any keynote remedies specific to these substances to
assist in building the constitutional picture.

Played with this a little, nothing conclusive yet, but have a few ideas to pass your way which may help provide some
Starting points for study.
One early idea was that somehow brucellosis was involved, carried by goats and cows ( seems likely to be present in NZ with high goat pop). But the allergic syndrome does not include fever or myalgia, or anything like brucellosis. And the exposure to some kind of oil also eliciting reaction, and that only young animals indicated, is interesting and tends to decrease the chance of her susceptibility involving some kind of pathogen. Anthrax spores are another idea (anthrax carried by herbivores, category that deer, goats, and cattle all in, and goats known carriers.). Both
brucella meletensis and anthracinum can have reactions merely from odors.
A few odd rubrics:

However, as said, no conclusions drawn and , so here are a few other analyses.
One of them includes MOSCHUS, a deer remedy (musk). Maybe what is in common between the oils (musk added to various oils, perfumes), the deer, goats, and calves are some kind of male hormone-like chemistry from sex glands, which sets off a hysterical anaphylactic reaction, to which the moschus type is susceptible. Why younger animals—maybe their production of these substances is in high gear?
However, the usual modality for Moschus is that musk smell amel, although certainly the opposite could be true.
Would be great if you could share this case with the list when a remedy acts.

[11] Sensation as if he was turned about so rapidly that he perceives current of air produced by motion. Often useful in last stage of croup when all sorts of remedies have been used in vain. Lies stretched out in bed, motionless, arms tightly held to
sides, during spasms. Neither pinching, sticking nor shaking makes the least impression upon her in spasm. Spasms; preceded by constriction of throat, great restlessness, oppression of chest, impatience, and intolerance of bedcovers; during attack she remains entirely conscious; suddenly becomes rigid, distortion of eyes, twitching of face, contraction of fingers; respiration becomes suspended, the throat swells, mouth is opened, head retracted and body tossed about in her violent efforts to get air; bends herself backwards and cries out "now it is over, now my breath is gone";
attacks end with belching and twitching of various parts, followed by crawling sensation in arms. All secretions and excretions suppressed during spasms. Uraemic convulsions. All muscular movements, during spasms, are in a certain direction, either from above downward or in opposite direction. Syncope; paroxysms set in at night, or in open air, with pulmonary spasms, or succeeded by headache. Purely neuralgic pains or functional disorders, from taking cold.
RESP
Difficult; chest oppressed; hysterical spasm of chest; asthma. Asthma, with intense anxiety, fear, and smothering sensation. Tightness of chest, is obliged to take a deeper breath; [5] can't lie down; gasps for air. [2] Sudden nervous suffocation; wants to take deep breath; worse becoming cold; better belching. [5] Respiratory troubles worse becoming cold. Difficult, with sticking in chest; can only take short breaths. Sudden dyspnoea, with violent cough; chest filled with mucus, with rattling and suffocative constriction. [11] Suffocative fits, with oppression of chest, as
from vapours of sulphur, commencing with desire to cough and getting worse until one despairs of getting over paroxysms; asthma. Sense of suffocation, with gnawing in chest.

A profoundly acting remedy on every organ and tissue. Its clear-cut characteristic symptoms and correspondence to many severe types of disease make its homœopathic employment constant and certain. *Dropsy; pale, puffy, baggy, SWELLING.
Spleen is enlarged in malarial fever. Child better when carried quickly. Prophylactic for yellow fever. Acute and chronic burns. Played with this a little, nothing conclusive yet, but have a few ideas to pass your way which may help provide some
Starting points for study.
One early idea was that somehow brucellosis was involved, carried by goats and cows ( seems likely to be present in NZ with high goat pop). But the allergic syndrome does not include fever or myalgia, or anything like brucellosis. And the exposure to some kind of oil also eliciting reaction, and that only young animals indicated, is interesting and tends to decrease the chance of her susceptibility involving some kind of pathogen. Anthrax spores are another idea (anthrax carried by herbivores, category that deer, goats, and cattle all in, and goats known carriers.). Both
brucella meletensis and anthracinum can have reactions merely from odors.
A few odd rubrics:

However, as said, no conclusions drawn and , so here are a few other analyses.
One of them includes MOSCHUS, a deer remedy (musk). Maybe what is in common between the oils (musk added to various oils, perfumes), the deer, goats, and calves are some kind of male hormone-like chemistry from sex glands, which sets off a hysterical anaphylactic reaction, to which the moschus type is susceptible. Why younger animals—maybe their production of these substances is in high gear?
However, the usual modality for Moschus is that musk smell amel, although certainly the opposite could be true.
Would be great if you could share this case with the list when a remedy acts.

[11] Sensation as if he was turned about so rapidly that he perceives current of air produced by motion. Often useful in last stage of croup when all sorts of remedies have been used in vain. Lies stretched out in bed, motionless, arms tightly held to
sides, during spasms. Neither pinching, sticking nor shaking makes the least impression upon her in spasm. Spasms; preceded by constriction of throat, great restlessness, oppression of chest, impatience, and intolerance of bedcovers; during attack she remains entirely conscious; suddenly becomes rigid, distortion of eyes, twitching of face, contraction of fingers; respiration becomes suspended, the throat swells, mouth is opened, head retracted and body tossed about in her violent efforts to get air; bends herself backwards and cries out "now it is over, now my breath is gone";
attacks end with belching and twitching of various parts, followed by crawling sensation in arms. All secretions and excretions suppressed during spasms. Uraemic convulsions. All muscular movements, during spasms, are in a certain direction, either from above downward or in opposite direction. Syncope; paroxysms set in at night, or in open air, with pulmonary spasms, or succeeded by headache. Purely neuralgic pains or functional disorders, from taking cold.
RESP
Difficult; chest oppressed; hysterical spasm of chest; asthma. Asthma, with intense anxiety, fear, and smothering sensation. Tightness of chest, is obliged to take a deeper breath; [5] can't lie down; gasps for air. [2] Sudden nervous suffocation; wants to take deep breath; worse becoming cold; better belching. [5] Respiratory troubles worse becoming cold. Difficult, with sticking in chest; can only take short breaths. Sudden dyspnoea, with violent cough; chest filled with mucus, with rattling and suffocative constriction. [11] Suffocative fits, with oppression of chest, as

Since you say she reacts only to nurselings, could it have to do with the
mother's milk, or emotional response to them??? Which wouldn't explain the
oil reaction... Does she remember anything about? the smell of the oil,
whether there was any emotional content for her???

Any ideas or shared experience of an Anaphylactic reaction to baby lambs,
goats, calves, deer. Reaction is subsequent to touching any of these
animals (all of them non-weaned), or even to the smell once person has
become sensitised by contact.. One other allergic crisis happened
subsequent to a bath with pungent oil (non identified). Symptoms start with
raised white welts (like nettle rash) extreme intense itching (< cold water)
causing hysteria, puffing of eyelids and face, weak feeling, difficult and

This may be more for interest's sake than helpful in this case, but below is a link to an article (at David Little's
website; article by Greg Bedayn) about a herd of sheep (in Central California) treated successfully with
Angustura vera for what appeared to be New Zealand Ryegrass Staggers -- a seasonal poisoning-epidemic in
sheep caused by the toxic endophyte, Acremonium lolii. It is a similar type phenomenon as Ergot poisoning
by Claviceps purpurea, but different organism and symptoms.
It demonstrates nicely a homeopathic cure of a group containing individuals susceptible to a local morbific
influence.
In the case at hand, (as I know you are well aware) attempts to determine the allergen (while definitely of interest)
may or may not be helpful in determining the curative agent, for, as in this example, the remedy might end up being found strictly on the symptoms presented.

goats, calves, deer. Reaction is subsequent to touching any of these
animals (all of them non-weaned), or even to the smell once person has
become sensitised by contact.. One other allergic crisis happened
subsequent to a bath with pungent oil (non identified). Symptoms start with
raised white welts (like nettle rash) extreme intense itching (< cold water)
causing hysteria, puffing of eyelids and face, weak feeling, difficult and
shallow breathing. If contact is prolonged then there is collapse with
brief loss of consciousness. There is no such reaction with adult animals
or with other babies such as kittens, dogs, birds etc. No other known
serious allergies - bees wasps etc. Possible allergies to some foods,
though this is not proven, but this teenage girl has had eczema in varying
degrees since infancy.
I am wanting to know of any keynote remedies specific to these substances to
assist in building the constitutional picture.

I had thought of the milk connection, though the babies in question were all
bottle fed, and reaction happened both after a calf had tried suckling her
fingers 4 years ago, as well as when only patting a lamb between feeds
recently.
There are interesting links with the birth - prem baby, immediately removed
from mother, never did well at the breast, but, before you get all excited
about this side of the story - I'm not sharing the whole case on line, and
am only seeking ideas on the anaphylactic component.
The anaphylaxis has only
presented in varying degrees over the last 4 years. Though as far as I know
there may not have been contact with the said babies before that time.
Following up on Andy's suggestions with Moschus, I was also lead to Ambra
Grisea,
and the following info and links to aromatic substances was interesting "As
for the
potential actions of the aromatic substances of ambergris, as well as of
musk, castoreum, and mephitis, on man, these extend mainly to the
instinctive, impulsive, and emotional functions which are so closely bound
up with the sense of smell. Less known about perfumes is that they often
contain a very slight odour of excrements, to create subconsciously the
feeling of safety of infancy. This reminds of the properties of indole.
Obtained from coal tar or faeces, crude indole emits an intense faecal
odour...." (from Prisma, Vermeulen p 56)
Lacs are a group I am investigating further, though her current mental state
does not indicate this group of remedies.
I am still interested in gathering further info of remedies that have caused
allergic type reactions relating to the identified animals, or associated
substances, as I feel it is reasonably unusual and specific - and therefore
of interest in finding out more.

Allergic reaction to baby animals
Since all the baby animals have been bottle fed, is there some common
connection between the allergic reaction and the milk they've all been
drinking? This might present a much more easily remedied situation that
looking at all the different animals.
