Hep B addition to 5 in 1 vacc

Post by Soroush Ebrahimi »

We have been telling the truth all the time!
Pls read attached and below!

Soroush
From ARH colleagues!
I was listening in horror to yet another addition to the vac load of babies which now includes Hep B which is now being added to the 5-in-1 vaccination. I heard today of the involvement of the JCVI (Joint Committee on Vaccination & Immunization) in this so I looked on a government site to search for any vested interests in any member of this committee and I then found that ‘conflicts of interests’ should be found as an annex to the minutes of these meetings.
However, looking through the most recent meeting minutes I found no annex information, so I went into Google and searched for ‘conflict of interest re JCVI’ and found the attached document dated 30 May 2012 for a Pneumococcal sub-committee. Not surprisingly there was a long list of people that have personal /non-person conflict of interests connected with one to three large pharma orgs and these individuals could all take part in the discussions and some could vote but some could not.
As the government says: Exposure to the hepatitis B virus causes an acute infection. Symptoms during acute infection can include tiredness, abdominal pain, a “flu-like illness”, nausea, vomiting, joint pains, loss of appetite and jaundice. Children rarely develop acute symptomatic hepatitis B infection whereas up to a third of adults are symptomatic during this acute stage of infection. Individuals are infectious to others and mortality during the acute phase of infection is estimated to be less than 1%.
So my questions are not surprisingly :

1) why are we vaccinating babies with Hep B?

2) why are individuals with vested interests allowed to influence and vote on JCVI matters?

==

Two things about Hep B:
Firstly, it is usually a chronic, lifelong condition (unlike Hep A) which may well lead to cancer of the liver years later ( and those infected continue to be carriers, I believe)
Secondly, HOWEVER, it is transmitted through blood or sexual contact....most unlikely for a newborn baby!

Those who push for such vaccinations to be used on fragile newborns with undeveloped immune systems are ignorant, mad...and seriously evil, in my opinion, as they do this for the basest mercenary reasons. It is not a childhood disease!
