Can anyone share experience re treating a horse with Cushings? I'm
interested in both homeopathic and other approaches and outcomes.
Thanks!

Re: cushings in a horse?
Shannon,
I have had very positive results treating Cushing's in dogs. I don't treat
many horses at all, so I have not had that opportunity.

Re: cushings in a horse?
Hi Russell,
Could you say how you proceed?
Would it be based simply on "presenting symptoms" -- including or excluding
common symptoms of Cushings (in horses, e.g. swelling above the eyes, wooly
coat, etc.)? In the *slight* references I found on the 'net, there's
mention of using adrenal sarcode; is that part of what you have done, or ??
Thanks much!

Re: cushings in a horse?
Shannon,
I have approached them like any chronic case. I would exclude common
symptoms. I tend to focus more on the nature and temperament of the patient
as well as A/F's, history, sensitivities, etc. I have not used sarcodes.

Re: cushings in a horse?
Thanks, I'm encouraged to hear that!
This is a neighbor's horse, and I don't know whether I'll be given the
chance to treat her, but I'm hoping so. (They also are not certain she has
Cushings, but that's what it's looking like.)
If I do get that chance, I'll probably be back with more questions --
thanks!
