My husband has been through the mill...with his new vein in his leg and then
constant nerve pain and I'll tell the story of that later. I did give him lm
Arsenicum and after a couple of weeks his mood changed and he seems to always
be nice most of the time now...though he is taking gabapentin for his nerve
pain whenever it is really bad...and lots of nerve pain nutritional
supplements...But this afternoon he cut his tendon in his finger and went to
ER and they stitched him up and said they would make appt for surgery sometime
this week...isn't this something that should be done right away? I'll give
him hypericum when he gets home from hospital, already gave him arnica
200c...but if they fix it later...won't the nerves be dead? I know nothing
about this stuff.

It is a mechanical problem the tendon needs to be reattached in order for the finger to work properly.
The local small nerve endings that might have been cut will regenerate, and indeed Hypericum will speed the process up.
It is just "hardware"............

Does he have varicose veins in his leg? Something like Ham. might help if that is the situation.
Dr. Roz is right about the fingers.
