Neem oil has been sold in farm and garden centers for many years. It is a concentrate typically that gets

diluted and sprayed. The containers provide use and application information. Am thinking of using it

myself as I need something for some insects where I cannot find a homeopathic remedy easily.

Burning neem twigs is said to deter mosquitos. I planted a No of trees once in N Queensland to have a ready supply . The problem was that they went feral with shoots everywhere and I reluctantly removed them, Jean

Have an orange tree with sootiness of leaves and fruit.. Have tried spraying it with Ferrum Sulph [ Kaviraj sooty mould]. Used a 30c.Thought it helped but not sure as so much rain since first spray. Have just repeated! Jean

Jean--did you feed the roots which was Kaviraj's primary delivery protocol?

It is the way I practice it.

Ferrum Sulph 30c and my orange tree. Treated beneath the tree as suggested and repeated spraying. I feel there is a definite improvement in the sootiness of the leaves.. Hope so . Will report in about a month. Jean

That is good to hear. Careful not to overdo it as a tree may react with a proving, just as people
