Connecting/Interviewing/Assessment

Hello Minutus list,

My sense and experience is that state sharing and connecting is essential to not only finding the strange/unigue etc. symptoms in Homeopathy but to understand any context from which symptoms originate. Anthropologists have long used what is called a "participant observer" process which given all the modern stimuli in today's world gets as close to being an "unprejudiced observer" as one can. There is also a biological entrainment when sharing communication states that is necessary for accurate mutual understanding ( something I call "love and Wisdom"). This, with an important understanding of ones temperament and communication style, allows for sensations and " as if _____" narratives to be expressed from profound levels, be it poetic, delusions or from dreams. It also avoids succumbing to allopathic labels such as " borderline" etc. or non verbal gestures without context, which has the danger of standardizing and labeling, something that Hahamann, being system as he was, strived to avoid. I have used synchronized coherent breathing ( six seconds inhalations and exhalations), Qigong and other joining exercises as part of doing assessments with good success, then good old solid materia medica research after the ensuing narrative to find the appropriate remedies.The late Anthropologist Paul Byers wrote about this innate biological human communication connection as did Gregory Bateson. Homeopaths David Little, Luc Deschepper, Jane Cicchetti, Larry Malerba and Brian Kaplan, to mention a few, have also written about the importance of how to connect beyond being a passive observer in doing assessments. I have described my experiences regarding the above in several articles on my web site ( below). I hope that this may add to the discussion on interviewing and gathering perspective that is needed to describe and utilize ones presenting narrative.
