Mesothelioma & homeopathy?

Post by Marybeth Buchele »

Hi all,
Has anyone had success with using homeopathy for mesothelioma from asbestos?
What naturopathic approaches help support the person's system?
Any thoughts are appreciated.
Thanks!
Marybeth

I would give Lobelia tincture (I use herbal) 5 drops 3 x a day. This is all a woman who had asbestosis needed to gain a very better quality of life until she passed 2 years later in her 80’s.

Mesothelioma is a tough one. I've had only one case years ago. The case was advanced, but the main thing troubling the patient was loss of psychic powers (which were restored, surprisingly enough, with Lycopodium, allowing the patient to have a vision of the hereafter that reconciled her to dying). She was treated subsequently by Dr. Ramakrishnan with Kali-c., but her disease continued to progress, though probably more slowly than had she not received homeopathic treatment.
Peace,
Dale

How has he changed it? My guess would be it's simplified because too many patients complained of having to take 10 doses a day.

Hi Dale,
Wrong!!!!
He starts off with 200C with both remedies as per usual and then he increases the organ remedy fairly quickly but not the nosode and next time increases the nosode and so on!! If the organ specific remedy needs to be changed that starts at the 200 whereas the nosode stays at the potency it has reached!!
I get my patients to use a water bottle and do the 10 doses while watching TV in the evening or while at the desk at work!

Hi, Rochelle
Did he explain the rationale for this change? Does he increase the potency of the organ remedy in the course of a week or only after an interval with the nosode?
I haven't found the 10 doses a day to be a problem so much with human patients as with animal patients whose owners can find it cumbersome. With people, I tell them this is part and parcel of a healing ritual. They can do other things while dosing, but it's really nice if they turn the period into time for themselves to meditate or be quiet or do something special.
Peace,
Dale

Hi Dale ,

I don’t remember reading about any rationale. Re the timing the wording was “fairly early on” for the organ remedy and “quite some time” with the nosode. No comment!!! Looking at some of the cases “fairly early on “ seems to be 16 weeks and “after sometime “ 24 weeks!!! But needless to say that varied!!
