Does anyone know what rubrics to use for the sensation of pins & needles - i believe it may be formication? - &/or what would be the main remedies?

Shanny,

You can use :

EXTREMITIES, FORMICATION
EXTREMITIES, TINGLING.
GENERALITIES, FORMICATION, EXTERNAL PARTS

On a repertory search using all of the above general rubrics, the
highest remedies are: Rhus toxicodendron, Aconite, Lycopodium, Secale,
Phosphoric acid, Phosphorus, Pulsatilla, Alumina, Argentum nitricum,
Arnica, Nux vomica, Rhododendron, Sepia. But there are lots more
remedies with these symptoms. To narrow the search, try the sub-rubrics
that specify location or specific modalities or concomitants.

Best wishes,
Arlene

Dear Shanny,

Formication is crawling or creeping sensation. I wouldn't use this for 'pins
and needles' feeling, I think tingling (and also include numbness if it is
pronounced) is the better suggestion.

Regards, Joy
