Rabies Case
Hi,
Would like some assistance on a case of the bite of a rabid animal.
Patient tested positive for rabies and got a series of nasty shots from the medical establishment.
Possibly bitten again, said would rather die than get those shots again so turned to homeopathy/.
Used homeopathics and was doing pretty well. This was a couple of years ago,
Numbness, cold sensitivity remains at the bite and anti-rabies shot site.
This patient has become anorexic, has lost quite a bit of weight and is unable to eat anything since mid December, cannot drink water and is living on coffee with lots of sugar and some milk.
Vomits water almost immediately, more that taken in with green foam, and gets nauseous at the thought or sight of food.
I need some of your thoughts on potency. These symptoms are all in the provings of Lyssinum,
I tried a 12 c dry dose which did nothing for the nausea.
I had used a 200c during the active phase a couple of years ago, but it seems he is now getting some of the side effects of the lyssin.
What kind of potencies would you suggest I try to clean up these side effect symptoms. (Gave a 30C of nux in water this morning with directions to take 1/4 tsp sips until the nausea subsides and gave a 200c dry dose of Lyssin - thought I would try to move upwards as needed)
This system if very sluggish and very, very slow. Had some cardiac symptoms and was given morphine for and the side effects of that morphine lasted weeks and weeks - so I do not want to dose too frequently. So am reticent to push too hard with too many doses of the remedies
I need your thoughts and suggestions ASAP or I do expect this will end up in a fatality. (he is seeing traditonal medical doctors who have no clue at all either with what to do or what to give him, he is not taking any allopathic meds, is not using alcohol and certainly not hard drugs of any kind.
Your thought are much appreciated. My thoughts are leaning on a dry dose of 10 M, this person will probably not be consistent with periodic aqueous doses.
thanks for your thoughts.
Maria

Re: Rabies Case
I will try to get it, but seems like 12C is the lowest potency I have.
Have tried the Fibonacci series in LM potencies, perhaps that may help, Will see if I have it in that potency.
BTW, the Fibbonacci series in LMs does pretty good work.

Hi Maria,
Lyssinum has aversion to water. (Coffee is tolerated but water is not from your post.)????????????
From Desktop Guide - Morrison
HYdrophobinum
".................In most cases the patient will give a history of anti-rabies immunization although at times merely the report of a serious animal bite or the immunization of a parent will suffice if the symptomatology is clear.
G. Mortelmans of Belgium reported (and I confirmed in another case) two cases of phobia, especially to dogs, which developed after a car accident.
Richard Pitcairn of Portland is a Veterinarian who noted Lachesis to be almost specific in the treatment o rabies vaccine reactions in animals and thus pointed to its relation to the Lyssin miasm. Lou Klien of Vancouver has related Hydrophobinum to compulsive disorders, family abuse issues and strong feelings of isolation and torment or ridicule." from Morrison.

Ok. Thanks for the Lachesis tip.
Concordant MM speaks of desire for coffee so that too fits.
Had him try quarter tsps of nix Von in water and he vomited it up. Am worried. Will check and try the Lachesis.

Re: Rabies Case
Patient is worse cold. Hands are freezing and < cold. Has to stop and warm them up. This may eliminate Lachesis.
Re: Rabies Case
I believe Dr. Joe said the Fibonacci series was not designed, so to speak, with LMs in mind.
Hahnemann Labs and Washington Homeopathics, while not manufacturing Fibonacci potencies as such, do have all the intermediary potencies necessary to create your own F-series. The problem comes when you go much over 30c; then you have to make your own, which is tedious.
Peace,
Dale

Hi Maria,
This is a general comment..............I thought snakes were cold blooded and needed to to find a place in the sun to get warm?

Re: Rabies Case
Other vets consider Belladonna to be the main remedy needed for a reaction to the rabies vaccine. This might be a better fit.
