Re: that the same potency shouldn't be given twice in a row
Hi Kerry, Yes the original. Not George Dimitriades' version, he incorporated a lot of revisions in the layout of the chapters and grading changes, but these are not necessarily improvements on the original. However, the endnotes at the back of his book, which explain the meaning and context of the r...

Re: that the same potency shouldn't be given twice in a row
Gail, Was there a Direction of Cure? Yes, I would say so, this patient was a fully grown, recently castrated, male cat, probably about 4 or 5 years old. Is he permanently cured? I wouldn't think so, he has a genetic condition that predisposes him to specific problems, but so far, so good. He was pro...

Re: BIH water potencies
Sure! I get it. ;-) If you're ever looking for the Aphorism, here it is: § 247 Sixth Edition It is impractical to repeat the same unchanged dose of a remedy once, not to mention its frequent repetition (and at short intervals in order not to delay the cure). The vital principle does not accept such ...

What does the Organon say about repeating dry Centesimal doses of the same

Well, thanks for sharing Liz.

Re: that the same potency shouldn't be given twice in a row
Hi John,
Where would I purchase activated charcoal? Is it readily available in a supermarket - where the water filter thingys are kept?
Erm, is it going to fit through the neck of a 100ml medicine bottle
)? I wonder how much you need to use?
Thanks,
Chris.

Re: that the same potency shouldn't be given twice in a row
The food likes and dislikes appear to be personal idiosyncracies that are unrelated or unchanged during states of illhealth. So as constitutional concomitants, they don't seem relevant. Her level of embarrassment and her expectation that she will be judged harshly by others is understandable under t...

Re: that the same potency shouldn't be given twice in a row
Hi Liz, Yes, it must have been a truly horrendous time for her, and it's not difficult to imagine the depth of emotional trauma she underwent. By characterstics I meant the sensations and modalities running through the case at that current time. The Desires Coffee, and Aversion to slimy food modalit...

Re: that the same potency shouldn't be given twice in a row
Re: wooden toothpicks, contamination... Hahnemann suggested we could use charcoal instead of alcohol to preserve the contents of a remedy bottle, and that little piece of carbon doesn't leave a nasty contaminated footprint on the remedy. Maybe on the tastebuds...I don't know, I've never tried it. Ch...

Re: Removing poppy seed size pilules (Was: that the same potency shouldn't be given twice in a row)
arrgh.. It's so quick and easy using a wet toothpick to transfer just one pillule. It acts like a magnet. And there's much less chance of skin contact.
