Re: Dental abscess in Jack Russell

I'd do the extraction. Dogs tolerate missing teeth quite well. Support the ABX with homeopathy for the symptoms and the surgery. This is a dangerous situation, and I wouldn't mess around - and, boy, I've done that a lot with dogs:) If you are feeding raw food containing non-weight-bearing bones, I'd...

Re: Vitamin D - Weston Price

And I try to eat as we did BEFORE fire was tamed and agriculture invented, both of which had globally deleterious and permanent effects on the health of the race and of all our domesticated animals. I use supplements to correct my food, and homeopathy to correct my function. Everything has its place...

Re: coffee antidote

There are those who have experienced a coffee antidote, apparently, and others, like myself, who have never experienced this to be the case. It is often said that a properly chosen remedy cannot be antidoted by a gross substance, despite admonishments to avoid mint, coffee, liquor, etc. Of course, i...

Re: putting old dog to sleep

Thanks for your response, John. I ask that you note that in my original post, I carefully stated that I assisted my own dog with chemical euthanasia, not Ars, and it was this passing to which I referred as "no trauma, just peace". I well understand the purpose and application of homeopathy...

Re: putting old dog to sleep

Yes; some folks use Arsenic 1M repeatedly. It produces a euphoric, calm state, and then they just go to sleep. You'd need to do it for a couple of days, and you'd need to get the remedy from a homeopath, as it's not commonly available to lay persons. I just helped my 14 year old dog to transition, b...

Re: questionaire for homoeopath

Well, I would not be offended if I agreed with the principles laid out, which is what you are looking for. At the least, explanations should be freely offered and discussed on any smaller points. The homeopath who does not wish his clients to be well-educated and part of the process is not one you w...

Re: herpes remedies

Agreed. I, too, got this impression. I am close to several cases, including my own, which have herpetic expressions. In folks under homeopathic treatment, I have always viewed these eruptions as indicators of the progress of cure, and embrace them for it. Only the untrained could see this as the pla...

Re: Removing poppy seed size pilules (Was: that the same potency shouldn't be given twice in a row)

And I fold a small clean piece of paper in half and tap the vial to spill out one or more pellets onto it. Then I use the toothpick to nudge one or two down the crease and into the mixing bottle. I never add water until the pellets are in the bottle, in case a bunch fall in at once. If there are ext...

Re: more on constitutional

Shannon, and others: I wonder if you might be helped in clarifying this question by the writings of David Little on constitution and temperament. Perhaps Sheri might have this in a postable form. I found it very helpful in understanding these relationships, and thus in choosing the proper remedies -...

Re: Black clothes

Wants to shock
Wants power - to be seen as allied with the dark side
Is a witch
Morbid preoccupation
Poor self-image - dismissive of perceived poor appearance

I definitely think this is a valid symptom:) Been there.
