Re: I'm angry
Hi Michele, Interesting, the possible connection here. I emailed Jan Scholten about your Lilac - Syringa Vulgaris. A man of very few words as you know, it took 2 emails to get the following: The remedy is available from Homeoden in Belgium. When you go to their website, you'll discover that they hav...

Enquiring minds (was Antidoting or Lyc patient)
Thanks, Soroush and to Liz and Chris from the Aussie (pronounced Ozzie) contingent. I agree, and it's great to get amplification on why some of the DON'Ts occur. I'm seeing so many hom students (as a hom bookseller) that are confused and become quite discouraged because of all the "don't do's&q...

Re: Coffee [was: Lyc Patient]
Hi Shannon, No, not joking about the 20 cups. After some months of constitutional treatment he cut down on the coffee because he just wanted to, felt ok about it, and about a whole lot of 'stuff' in life, and continued to improve his lifestyle when he was ready. Isn't this how it works? :) Elizabeth

Re: Lyc Patient
Oh, and if a patient drinks 20 cups of coffee a day and you ask them to
stop - aren't you going to immediately get a different symptom picture
(which includes stress, withdrawals, hatred of homeopath)?

Re: Lyc Patient
Popular opinion concurs with my limited experience. I have known remedies to work after people have taken them IN their coffee, straight after brushing their teeth etc. When the action of a remedy IS affected it always seems to be after something occurring that the person/vital force is not used to ...

Re: tree remedies?
Hi Shannon, I know both Frans Vermeulen and Jan Scholten (and others) are looking at the themes of plants, and it seems to be more a case of, for instance, the conifers having themes of whatever, but within that family there are shrubs, small trees and huge trees, each with their varying issues of e...

Re: creams
Hi Michelle, You can get tubs of aqueous cream very cheaply in the chemists here, I add 1 teaspoon of tincture to 10 teaspoons of cream. Same for Arnica or Calendula, I get through a lot of both with a child! There must be a lot of places that sell 'bases' for creams, I did buy some firmer bases, cr...
