Re: veterinary question--follow up info

Hi, Tanya -- This sounds like a situation you may be able to treat mostly homeopathically. Cleaning her teeth is definitely needed. Uncleaned teeth can facilitate heart and kidney infections. The have a no-anesthesia tooth cleaning for dogs -- do they do this for cats? If so, even if it's not as tho...

Re: Skin tags?

Is everyone talking about the same thing when they say "skin tags?" I was
always taught they were a form of small benign tumor -- a lipoma, in effect.
This would not be a wart, although I can see where certain warts might also
be called "skin tags."

Interesting.... Rosemary

Re: Question on Homotoxicology

I assume that many of the "salt" remedies would initially have been administered as combinations -- e.g. Ars-i, Nat-sil, zinc-p, aur-m-n???? Certainly one often considers these remedies today in just the kind of circumstance Hahnemann describes, where both constituents seem equally reflect...

Pertussis

Relative to a previous thread about pertussin and the "100 day cough," US allopathic sources have finally admitted publicly that cases of pertussis are on the rise, among adult and also even vaccinated children. There was an article in the March 2 2004 New York Times by Jane Brody summariz...

Re: Energy transfer of Rx

A possible rubric is "sympathetic" -- and it makes me think of Phos, but a lot of other remedies too, I'm sure. Interesting.

Re: Chronic Diseases - Samual Hahnemann - 1

My impression has always been that Hahnemann was talking about the individual's totality of symptoms as "the disease" and that he wasn't referring to modern allopathic disease labels.

Re: energetic changes in milk

Dear Patricia, Thanks so much for your clear exposition of the dynamics of milk production. I think that gives a clue to a question I asked the group a couple of weeks ago that got no response -- A patient asked me, when I said that homeopaths often give the lactating mother a remedy which is meant ...

You might also look into Caduceus Institute's distance learning program, which I found to be excellent. Willa Keizer is an outstandingly effective teacher and a wonderful mentor. The website is: www.homeopathyhome.com/caduceus
