I knew it was Hviii because Joy said it was!! There is the 'golden boy' side of syphilinum, as with Fluor ac, though and Hviii was reputed to be very good looking in his youth - and a poet to boot.

Re: Miasmatic influence
i think that is pretty syphilitic. Not sure about history of death in family history:) Malaria doesn't really seem to fit. Apparantly H. referred to a 'marsh miasm' in 'chronic diseases' at least according to Banerjea.

rubric help - incoherence
An older lady whom i last saw some years ago has tracked me down again! Something to do with her thyroid. I find her exhausting and I am not looking forward to the consultion. She is quite incoherent, talking in disconnected phrases and jumping from one thought to another. After her initial diagnosi...

Hi Didi
Well, you are probably in a unique position in this group with the number of HIV/AIDS patients you see - and I think we are all aware of that context and perspective, too.

Med Proving - was - In defense of secrecy -was HIV AIDS treat, digession
I am reading a really interesting book at the moment, Tanya. You may have come across it: it is called Mad, Bad and Sad by Lisa Appignanesi and is about the treatment of 'mad' women since 1800. One thing that struck me as especially interesting was the contrast in diagnostics between Hahnemann's day...

Re: Med Proving - was - In defense of secrecy -was HIV AIDS treat
Hi Shannon, As a patient I have had similar experiences - taking things on trust and not fully understanding why I had been given what. And in many areas of life I trust other people to know what they are doing because you can't be an expert in everything. However, in homeopathy we are the ones who ...

Re: Med Proving - was - In defense of secrecy -was HIV AIDS treat
I do see your point, Didi, and would probably be using this remedy myself with great interest if I was in your shoes. However, in any other area of life professional people expect and are expected to have some idea of the provenance of the materials they are using and how they might be working. This...

The main radionic machines used here in the UK to actually 'make' remedies work on the basis of each known/named remedy having a numerical value that has been dowsed. There are anomalies I believe, such as Silica having a different number from Silicea but that is the basis. Peter Chapell, as I under...

Hello Joy
I don't think anyone said it was a complex or combination. Didi mentioned the possibility that it might be a compound rather than the element alone. Do you get compounds of the Lathanides? I wouldn't know.
