Animal Miasms-long response
Hi Dee, First of all, I would agree with your homeopathic vet. You'll be spending all your time putting out fires, when indeed this family of cats could use some miasmatic prescribing. Regarding the issue of the existence of miasms in animals, I would leave that debate to others. My observations are...

Re: Species affinity for certain remedies?
Dear DMW, It's great to hear that you're using remedies in your sanctuary. I think you'll find their use, especially in any "epidemics" you might experience, very rewarding- more so than the use of allopathic medicines. Regarding your question about species' affinities for certain remedies...

I hafta share Great story! I teach a short introductory course in Homeopathy for Pets. One of the remedies we discuss is Bell and I use heatstroke as a picturesque example. Can I use your story? A great book is Don Hamilton's Homeopathy for Cats and Dogs, Small Doses for Small Animals. One of the mo...

Re: Online Case
Sounds like it could be the vaccine reaction. I'd ask the local vet. (Heck,
if they're giving that many rabies vaccines, I'm sure he can recognize a
local reaction!).

Lipomas are not firm or lumpy. Doesn't sound like a lipoma that you're
describing.

Re: Online Case
The disposition to rabies-like symptoms I believe stems from overvaccination, or even just one vaccination in a sensitive individual. Because we see problems in pups that have not yet received a first rabies vaccination, and because these rabies-like problems seem to be increasing in frequency and i...

Re: New thought
The Academy of Veterinary Homeopathy has funding available for research projects. (I am the Pres. Elect for 2 more weeks, then Pres. Mar. 1). Cornell is currently doing a study with HomeoPet, a combination remedy company. We are not involved in this study, as we are strictly classical. All the Deans...
