Re: child who doesn't want to grow up

Is not the desire for onion a little strange? Also is the desire for sugar, for sugar or for sweets? Apart from that how much importance do we give to body image issues around puberty? "Does not want to grow up" - is that what she said or what you thought would summarize the case? "Mo...

Re: warts in children

I would think of Silicea as well. I have treated crops of warts with it in children; this time the tonsils and the "hates with a passion" also point to Silicea...might be worth a try if there are other corroborative symptoms --- In minutus@yahoogroups.com, "Pauline Ashford " wrot...

Re: Dodging the guru fixation

Celia- Interesting and keep it up. I have seen this many times ( embarrassingly in a few of my own cases) where one of my students / juniors / knowledgeable patients found the remedy by some simple key note while I needlessly complicated the case with endless analysis. There was one case where I sug...

Re: psyche and substance by whitmont

Obviously Sankaran was influenced by Edward Whitmont...Edward belonged to a much older group that presented regularly in Homeopathic recorder- Hayes, Whitmont, Sutherland and such...around 1940 - 1950... I like Whitmont's writing but have never been a big fan of his ( In contrast I like Hayes articl...

Re: Strained Muscle Case

Janet, Thanks. Just make sure that the vibration is a sensation and not shaking of the hand due to weakness; if it is weakness, then weawkness might become more important- Regarding numbness, the modality you have is good - lying on numb part wrote: my and the in to novel interesting. shoulder. the ...

Re: Strained Muscle Case

Janet- No apologies, there is nothing elementary here. All of us face tough choices even with the simplest problems. Good of you to acknowledge that it is hard and to post it here. My 2 cents: 1) If Rhus tox is still indicated probably you can try with it. But Rhus tox will always seem indicated one...

Re: Aconite layer?

a NBWS is chronic- from a common sense perspective and general medical perspective... If one cannot show miasmatic symptoms it is not chronic from homeopathic perspective...( though it is psoric - but then everyone is psoric from my understanding) Personally I do not prescribe based on just miasms- ...

Re: Aconite layer?

Aconite is not considered as Chronic in general - not because it cannot address long standing symptoms but because of the way we define acute and chronic in homeopathy. If we define acute as something that either kills the patient or leaves him/her on its own accord and chronic as a miasmatic diseas...

Re: depression

Phos.acid has prominent headache symptoms and emaciation associated with grief.. I would suggest reading it in Hering's 10 volumes... Is all the more indicated if the patient is drowsy most of the time; shows indiffernce, < sour food etc. Details of the accident - how did the accident take place? Is...
