But still, it is not "toxic" enough to make most people sensitive to it -- so I would not consider it a poison. If she were sensitive to tear gas, then that is a toxin at work. Electricity is not a poison. Fluorescent lights may not be the greatest thing for you, but millions of people use...

I'm sure you have thought of this -- but it seems to me that sensitivity to electricity isn't any different from sensitivity to anything else: the sensitivity itself is the symptom, along with the physical or mental/emotional sensations she experiences.
