Re: Frequent night time urination

DHEA would not be my pick either, at least not from a Naturopathic stand point. For sleep many of my clients use a combo by Luyties it contains Avena sat, Kali phos, Passiflora. I know combinations don’t make many of you happy but it has been really beneficial to many. If deep sleep is truly the pro...

Re: tetnus prevention

It is my understanding that you need anaerobic bacteria and lack of oxygen to the wound to get tetanus, it has nothing really to do with rust and more to do with the depth and how much oxygen can get to the entire wound, this is why it is associated with puncture wounds. I too have always heard Ledu...

Re: Homeopathic Literature -- what authors, what books MUST be on homeopath shelf?

Kimberly, I have the following which were on my book list from BIH. Plus I ordered many more from http://www.bjainbooks.com/qsearch.asp?flag=view&search=Homoeopathy&recstart_no=&username=307274749&products=books and had them sent from India. I also have The Homeopathic Treatment of L...

Re: Paris's casebooks

For us English speaking people: The message is translated as follows Hello, I am a French homeopathic doctor. You can find certain things on Homeoint.org I studied a certain number of cards of Hahnemann to Paris which I gave to clean starting from the microfiches lent by David Little. I have a speci...

Re: Distance Learning - Correspondence Course?

Aryeh, I am enrolled in BIHUSA and find the courses very good. Paired with Homeopathic Symposium I think it is working out great. If you are dedicated you can do correspondence with no problem. I have done both as far as schooling and don’t find much of a difference if you can study on your own. Bac...

Re: do you tell the patient?

I think that is one of the things that is wrong with society and allopathic medicine, people do not question what they are taking and end up in worse shape then they started. I started out in Medical School I do know about allopathic pharmacopeia, that is my point. Energy or not I want to know where...

Re: do you tell the patient?

Homeopathy must be very different then Naturopathy with how the clients are treated. It would be against the law for me as a Naturopath do withhold that information. I have never given a placebo, so I cannot comment on that. Times were very different back when Hahnemann was prescribing, there was no...

Re: do you tell the patient?

That is totally different then in Naturopathy. The laws are so that I can “teach” and not prescribe so I have many handouts and information that goes along with the remedy, so they understand what they are taking and why. I can’t image giving something to someone and them not knowing what it is. Eve...
