what should be avoided when being treated homeopathically?

Hello list,
I have some questions for you.
Mint(and menthol), antibiotics, caffeine, camphor, kortizone, etc are forbiden to the ones that are under homeopathic treatment.
Some books and doctors also forbid eucalyptus and cinnamon.Others allow them.
Most of these substances have a similar characteristic: They have a strong aroma.
1) Could someone "ruin" his homeopathi treatment just by smelling these aromas(if the smell is strong)? Could aromas Damage the treatment?
2) What about the strong aromas of some essential oils, for example, lavender, thyme, pine tree oil, etc?
3) What if someone chews a mint flavoured gum, or smokes a mint flavored cigarette?
4) What is the full list of the things that should be avoided?
thanks in advance for you enlightment
