Looks like Psora is not just the mother of all diseases - it is also
the mother of all debates-

Why does this remind me of the elephant and 5 blind men - only here
it is not just 5 but seems to be a whole bunch of people, who if not
naturally blind, willingly wear blinkers-

So now miasm is not even pathological - All 3 miasms seem to be
essential for the survival of the individual and species...think
about that- they are like Three constitutions - Vatha, Pitha and
Kapha- And so here miasms are not even human - if plants have all
these ( naughty plants to have caught syphilis and gonorrhea- ) and
if the theory of evolution is right - we are not to blame for any
of these... we just inherited these from the naughty plants and
animals-

( and this has set my Soul free from the guilt it was carrying
thinking it had something to do with Psoric "taint" - you know like
it made me sever my umbilical cord from the Holy Spirit while I was
energetically trying to scratch the scabies patch and had applied a
suppressive steroid cream on it-)

Looks like all the great "philosophers" and "patron-saints" of
homeopathy need to have a theory on Miasms - at least for putting in
a book or to present in a conference...

Sure Kentian2003 ( are you really from Kent?

Not if all of them come from different directions, catch hold of a
different leg each and claim elephant is like a pillar...you got a
consensus but not the truth...

And what do they get out of it? Homeopathy is not an end but just a
means so knowing or not knowing the elephant does not matter for
blind ones-

Take a case and give it to someone and ask what miasm is prevalent
and why and what the medicine is - I bet you are going to get as
many suggestions for the medicine as there are prescribers... (
scientific prescribers forgive me... I am just talking about run-of-
the-mills like me. All scientific prescribers will always arrive at
the same medicine for the case wherever they are even though you do
not see much evidence anywhere )I have said this before and shall
repeat- for the past 1 year or more I have visited this group there
has been only 1 ( at least of what I saw) remedy suggestion based on
miasms if at all...of all the suggestions that pour in.
Reason: Nobody has a clear understanding of what a miasm is - and
this is because the original concept/theory of it is based on
something that came out before modern day microbiological, genetic,
evolution research. Good attempt but with insufficient data. Current
ones are trying to extend that in various ways. Question: What do we
lose by ditching the whole concept? All acute seasonal conditions we
should know about because of modern diagnosis and acute medicines
can be prescribed. Assume that all people ( plants, animals, insects
etc. also) are miasmatic. Take a longitudinal history and based on
that and on the current presenting symptom select your medicine for
treating chronics. How would you miss the indicated chronic remedy
even though you are not theorizing about miasms? Why should we make
people bald splitting hairs around the place - some saying oh this
is a psoric disease now going to sycotic ( which means that they are
each continuous with one another - that is it is a matter of
magnitude) and some saying that they are different miasms and at any
point one comes to the fore - and another elephant- tackler coming
out and saying that these have far more influence and they are not
even pathological but necessary evils for creativity and making us
wise people.

Any way one redeeming factor- at least it is not harmful because I
think for all the hullabaloo and writing books - not many people
really prescribe based on miasms. This is just one of those holy
cows ( elephants) that comes grazing by and knowing that it is not
going to be a burger soon, goes munching away.

I like that point... But I've long thought it would be nice to have a
"homeospeak" name for the syphilitic miasm too! Er, there's no
gentle disguise in that one...
