Burnett (Organ. Diseases of Women, I I 5) tells how he learned off a
herbalist the use of Trit. r., the herbalist having cured with it a patient
of Burnett's, a man suffering from dysuria.

Burnett has found it no less valuable for women than for men. "Frequently in
dysuria from an inflamed state of the urethra, I found Trit. right mother
tincture, ten drops in a little water, frequently repeated, of prompt
effect, often giving complete relief in a few hours, and if the ailment is
primarily in the urethra the relief is an abiding cure; if from a tugging of
the heavy womb, it is only relief".

He gives this case: A widow, suffering from complete procidentia uteri and
very bad haemorrhoidal bleeding, wrote that she was driven almost mad with
painful micturition; the burning and straining were truly awful. Trit. right
as above, was ordered, and brought a most grateful letter from the patient.
She keeps a supply always at hand.

Thanks Rochelle, but it seems to be a different remedy.

Proving

Triticum vulgare
Miss Sarah T. took twelve powders, containing Triticum 200, one
every hour till a symptom appeared. After twelfth powder, the second
day, had headache commencing in morning, continuing all day very
severe, located across eyes and across forehead, worse after walking
and stooping the head. After three months she reported no further
effect, but wished me to send her some medicine, as her menses, which
had always been normal, now came on every two weeks, with a great
flow of bright blood. Triticum C M relieved her entirely. This cure
has been verified.

A bread-baker informed me that sale girls in his bakery were very
apt to have disturbed menstruation, especially when they first came;
but they gradually became regular, and generally with increase in the
size of the breasts.
Triticum I prepared from the ripe wheat, by crushing and making
aqueous and alcoholic tinctures, running them up to the third, and
mixing them.
