Hi Leela, H, Theresa and others.

Thank you very much for the discussion about miasm, soul and spirit.
Personally I am very interested in that, but to me it was always to
abstract to even think about it, let alone talk about it and discuss
it with others.
Lately I more or less made a model for myself so that those words
did make more sence to me, just starting with the four elements
fire, earth, air and water, or in other words energie, matter,
language and psyche or even name it spirit, body, mind and soul.
Then the only thing that is visible is the body, but it is in a way
the same as the spirit (like energie = matter added with some
lightspeed or something like that, according to a certain famous
scientist
Then on the other hand you would have the mind and soul, where you
could say more or less that the mind can interact with the minds of
other body's in all kinds of language, wich is also more or less
visible.
So what you would have than for the world to see, a body and a mind.
In Homeopathy the pathology and the mindsymptoms.
Then as for fire-energie-spirit it could be easy to see the Vital
force wich is so very important in Homeopathy.
And that would leave us finaly with the question of the soul. It
being the invisible side of the mind that would mean that talking
about the soul is very difficult, as there are no words for it. But
mayby it is a deep feeling of all being one, expressed by our
emotions or sensations; well something like that.
Of course this is only a model and words like soul and spirit always
make it a bit tricky as others may have very different ideas about
them, but if so I would very much like to hear that.

I think you are headed in teh right direction with your understanding.

A well know phrase is "the Eyes are the windows to the soul".

I think the state of the soul can often be seen in ones eyes. The true
feelings of the heart and the thoughts of the mind are so easily given
away by the expression of the eyes.

The soul is place where the vital force erupts from to express
itself... first through the heart and mind and then through the body.

The PSYCHE is the place where the ENERGIE erupts from to express
itself ... first through the LANGUAGE and then through the MATTER.

Or

The SOUL is the place where the SPIRIT erupts from to express
itself ... first through the MIND and then through the BODY.

Or to make it homeopathic

The SENSATION is the place where the VITAL FORCE erupts from to
express itself ... first through the DELUSION and then through the
PATHOLOGIE.
Well it does make sense to me, what do you (or others) think?

So using all of the connecting words it would start with: fire-
energie-spirit.

Then where energie gets dense you would get minerals, plants and
animals being: earth-matter-body.

All these different species do interact with each other, some way or
another: air-language-mind.

At this point maybe the soul is not completely separated and could
be what is called the groupsoul: water-psyche-soul.

Now for people it might be essential to become an individual. But
the first years you could say he is still more or less part of a
groupsoul. And to be able to realy become an individual he has to
deal with the past of that groupsoul. Maybe that can be called miasm.

Say he deals with all that and becomes a real individual in puberty.
If it is a healthy individual he will discover what separates him
from all others: individual spirit.
In the years to follow he has to develop this skills and get it
under controle: individual body.
Then he needs reflection from others: individual mind.

What is to become next is in my opinion the most difficult thing to
do in life. After all the trouble you gone thru to become an
independent and creative individual, you have to transform into a
UNIVERSAL individual.
An inner proces: individual soul.

Well something like that.
