I wrote to Helios about this because I was curious myself. Bob Lawrence from
Helios replied there isn't any source reference that he's aware of that says
you need to boil a dilution glass for a half hour between doses to clean
away the effects of the previous dose, and that washing and drying the glass
should be enough. So if a patient is environmentally-conscious about using
disposable plastic or paper cups they can certainly use their own glass
without too much extra fuss.

It's not definitively known how long a liquid remedy stays active on a glass
surface, but once the dose has evaporated from the smooth inner surface of
the glass it has probably neutralized. To be on the safe side, I will still
be cleaning recycled remedy bottles by first washing and then placing them
in boiling water for a half hour.

With regard to the Aphorism 270 footnote, Hahnemann advised cleaning the
porous surface of a mortar and pestle by boiling for half an hour and then
placing the implements on a heated surface (glowing coals!) as an extra
precaution. Just washing a porous surface with water is obviously not enough
to remove every trace of potentized material so heat is required to nullify
any residual potency.

That's what I've always done--regular ol' kitchenware, then wash and
dry before re-use--and it's seemed fine so far as I could tell, too.

I agree -- If I'm going to make a dilution, I use glasses and spoons, put them in the dishwasher, and reuse the clean ones as needed, and I haven't seen any problems. Rosemary
