Here's another eye one! I have an elderly patient who amongst other sx has chronic constipation. She's been doing very well on Nux-V although just had a setback because she suppressed an external symptom with a lotion that didn't help much but brought back the constipation. She also has diplopia, which she finds is worse when she is more constipated. She asked me if there could be a connection.
It seems to me quite logical that if someone is straining at stool, screwing up head and face muscles, they could cause a visual disturbance, especially in the elderly where tendons and muscles etc. are less flexible. Does this sound far-fetched?
