I had a patient many years ago whom after case taking I thought was Ars. After repertorisation Ars came out too.

She was COLD and FULL of worries and anxieties for everyone and everything.
The very first time I saw her she was holding a hot water bottle and leaning against a central heating radiator. The room was warm! Lack of vital heat.

I gave her Ars LM and it did absolutely nothing for her.

I was so sure of my work that I doubted the remedy and so I got some Ars LM01 from another source and of course the same result!! I even went to Ars LM02.

Like a fool I tried other remedies that came through the repertorisation with no much of a result and she gave up!

The peculiarity of the patient was that although she was very Ars type, she was VERY sympathetic. And Ars is not under Sympathetic!! This substance proved by Hn should have told me that if it is not listed, it is not the right remedy!!
We have to learn the hard way!

After some years I contacted her recently and said I would like to try a new remedy for her. I gave her Kali Ars LM01
Although it is perhaps early days NOW she is naturally warm!! I think this 'general' sign of the vitality coming back is a good sign.

So what I wanted to say that if you have a patient that seems to appear like Ars but you can write 'Sympathetic' for her, then consider Kali Ars.

The expression of experiences of other colleagues with this remedy would be most welcome.

However arsenicum is under the comparable rubric "anxiety for others"

Yes I have used Kali Ars a few times - all for asthma. Kali Ars are very
anxious people even more so than arsenicum I think - they can be driven
crazy with it. The anguish centres on their health (like Ars) and there is
this peculiarity of they feel their heart is going to stop (this is the
asthma at work).

They are very chilly, they have the damp
rainy days. They don't like being disturbed but neither do they like being
alone. There are burning sensations. All very similar to Arsenicum. Other
prominent Sx are the skin indications - eczema, psoriasis, < heat and
undressing, intolerable itchings, nodules under the skin, black ulcers. One
of the coldest Rx like psorinum. Not happy bunnies at all.

For anyone interested in the Kaliums it is always worth doing a comparison
of all of them - there are at least 10.
