I think you are arguing terminology in absence of context. From
H2002's prior posts we *know* that he knows and uses the methods of
classical prescribing. We know that when he says "guessing" he does
not mean "throwing darts", but rather "educated guessing," and that is
all that any of us does. Some do it more accurately than others, some
have greater or lesser degrees and appropriateness of "education"
behind their "educated guesses," and our "educations" have not all
encompassed exactly the same elements, yet the term would IMO be the
same.
The alternative to "guessing", is "knowing". If homeopathy has nothing
to do with "guessing", then that means that "real homeopaths" or
"classical homeopaths" always *know* in advance that they've chosen the
right remedy, and what its effects will be. That means that they never
see a remedy failing when they thought it would work (aka "been
wrong"), nor seen one work even better than they'd thought (aka "been
pleasantly surprised"). Even when we *think* we "know", unless we
figure we're God, in possession of every possibly necessary detail, and
inevitably giving each factor its full due--in absence of that
situation, we are guessing. And may we all "guess" better and better,
with increasingly astute and adequate preparation!
