Africa Homeopaths Network

Dear All,
This is a first email to call us all together. I'm targeting mainly those who are "activist" homeopaths working in Africa - not merely concerned with your own practice but with the establishment of homeopathy for the African people.
I'm sure there are many many many more whom I don't know, so please pass this email on.
Well, I just got an email this weekend from some folks in Rwanda who are asking assistance in opening a homeopathic clinic in Rwanda. This triggered an idea in my head.
Africa, as a continent is unique - I don't have to tell all of you that. Those of you working here know all the problems.
Most of us are pioneering homeopathy as something new in our respective areas
Most of us face problems in both legal/ gov't recognition as well as popular recognition
Most of us know that the experience of treatment in Africa is vastly different than that of USA or Europe. We see how homeopathy works in the face of some of the planet's most virulent diseases and under tremendously poor health conditions of the population
I think it's time we link up with one another. I think we can share a lot and empower each other's work on various levels.
I've set up a mailing list specific for africa. no restrictions (ie "classical only" etc) except to share the african experience both in treatment and in the legal/ gov't side.
send a blank email to:
africa_homeopaths-subscribe@yahoogroups.com
through this mailing list not only can we email each other, we can upload & share documents, reports, research, photos. we can chat too if you're into that.
I'd like to get in touch with more SAfrican homeopaths - perhaps the college(s) there too? I know there are hom's in Senegal, Nigeria, Iv C, other W African countries?
It would also be good if we can produce a list of practitioners around the continent- because having a popular website, I frequently get requests from all over the continent for referrals and links.
Welcome!
Sincerely,
Didi Ananda Ruchira
