The Tunbridge Wells one has been out- patients only at least since I came to the area 20 years ago. I understand that even the future of that is currently under review and funding may not be re-newed. There used to be some excellent people there, notably Ann Clover, but the last time a patient of mine went there ( having come to see me pending an appointment coming through) he was told to continue with my treatment and given a prescription for several other things that looked neither allopathic nor homeopathic. I really didn't understand what the prescription was. Could have been some sort of isopathy based on blood tests?

Now I know there are homeopathic hospitals in London and Glasgow and that the Liverpool one closed down years ago but does anyone know if one exists in Tunbridge Wells or in Bath anymore?

Most Homoeopathic hospitals were taken over during first WW and not given
back to homoeopathy as such.

I am sure that Homoeopathic hospitals do some good work (as for the rest of
us) - However and I may be prejudiced here, I have little confidence in
them.

I remember a TV series a few years back where they were considering various
alternative therapies.
The case before the London Homoeopathic hospital was a girl with eczema.
She was prescribed graphites on the hoof and I for the life of me could not
see any reasoning for it. (shouting at the TV did not help!!)

Needless to say, the case did not improve and not only a great opportunity
to demonstrate the effectiveness of homoeopathy was lost, we scored a
negative point as in the eyes of ordinary people, homoeopathy did NOT work.

Also Dr Fisher from the faculty (also Hom physician to the Queen) was (not
sure whether he still is) an advocate of vaccination.

Enough said?
