((( HI Ellen, yes was aware of Mangialavori's project and sent a copy to the
person who runs his website a couple of years back; as I did to F. Schroyens
(Synthesis Rep) (who replied and liked the idea); the designer of Macrp/RFW;
and the compiler of the Complete Repertory. But no one has followed up with
more active interest. I think the best way to get it started is to have
someone use the concept of a summary block at the end of every case report
while publishing in a well-read journal--- with the editor fully behind the
idea. If editors of periodicals get behind it, then it will evolve into
regular procedure in reporting in periodicals and case conferences. Then
people like Mangialavori may use the ideas also if they help his project.
The standardized procedure will eventually be in every case in software
programs.

Then anyone can see what was confirmed or added or changed in the
understanding of an rx by a case--AT A GLANCE--and compilers of info can
then add it to our database EASILY and with minimum time expenditure so that
the modern cures of the grassroots practitioners is USED and adds to
knowledge. If people know their case will lead to progress, then they will
put in the work of typing it up. Mangialavori realizes this in his strategy
to collect cases, it appears by what you say above.

It is a lot of work for a compiler to read through cases. The summary of
what the case determined--if any ---regarding rep additions possibilities or
confirmations of remedy proving symptoms; or regrading; or the theme or
gestalt of a remedy--should be summarized in a block at the end of each case
report. Anyone in charge of the homeopathic knowledge base can then read
the case for more detail or contact the reporter for questions. The time
and work is decentralized--and the person who actually took the case is the
best person to make the decisions on what is in that summary block.

Thanks for your suggestion. There are a lot of ideas out there and only so
much time for people. Maybe I will find the file and send it to Massimos
site again... Will keep that on the burner. Thanks. Hope the food is good
in Japan and that you go to the countryside, and that you do not need oxygen
after a day out in Tokyo.

Another good place to send your idea is the schools. If they demanded this format in their case reports, it would also eventually have an impact. Also, it would be a good exercise for students. Me included )

Yes, the food is really good. Shopping for food is great fun because there is such a gourmet variety, but the prices are 3 - 4 times what I am used to in the States. During the spring on a dry warm sunny day, 1/3 of the population was wearing a cotton mask because of hayfever, allergy to pollen. Do they need homeopathy here!
