LM and Case management questions

Dear Friends,
Thanks to all those who replied to my recent questions about LM potencies,
and about case management with the ongoing use of recreational drugs. All
your answers were very helpful. I still haven't decided what size bottles
I'm going to use for LM potencies, but I am continuing to treat the man I
asked about. There does seem to be progress. I've decided on a weekly dose
of 30c (in water potency like LM) for now, with him checking in with me
weekly to see how that goes.

I so much appreciate having this convenient access to a group of colleagues!

Blessings,
Charlotte Gilruth

CHARLOTTE -
just a question - are you going to get him to succuss each weekly dose to
make sure you are not giving the same potency to him so that he may not
begin to prove the remedy???? i wonder why every week and for how long?
successing each additional dose is called plussing and makes sure we
increase the dose even a tiny amount with the patients vital force. or are
you going to assess his vital force each week with him to assess his
reaction to the remedy and if another dose is needed again? sorry, i am
just trying to understand why the repetition is necessary. all i've read
from Hahnemann is not to repeat the same dose frequently or the patient will
begin to prove the remedy.
thanks holly

Hi all-

It would be WELL worth your time to study this definitive material on liquid
posology.
http://www.simillimum.com/Thelittlelibr ... s/HAM.html

One of the KEY points of the liquid posology is its ability to "speed the
cure" in one-half, one-quarter, or even less time (than single unit dose)
(see aphorism 246, Organon 6th ed.)

In my experience, if the individual is not hyper-sensitive, a weekly dose is
not out of the question- although I do try to work with the client to
establish one or more reliable "marker symptoms" which show when the
curative action of the dose is beginning to wear off, indicating appropriate
time for redose.
