I would like to suggest that the first distinction to be made is
between admiration and envy. The distinction is in the intention.
Admiration is an approval and appreciation for the position of
another, while envy has the element of malice; ie, an intention of
ill will.
Jealousy goes to the aspect of motivation behind an act and toward
which act there is an element of suspicion.
