Hi Team
I have a patient who is in perfect health. She is 33yrs old and suffered
from Eczema in her childhood which has disappeared. She used steroid creams
quite heavily.
She has found that the sides of her mouth are dry and dark in colour. Any
idea's on this?

Re: Dry Lips at the side of the mouth
Hi Atiq,
One possible rubric--Face, discoloration, dark, dusky, around mouth:
ars, phos. But this might not be quite on target...
When you say, "in perfect health", do you mean that she is also
completely content, well-adjusted, successful in her life, working
fruitfully with all family, friends and acquaintances, working well in
pursuit of "the higher purposes of [her] existence"? Or is this truly
a one-sided case? Eczema from childhood and heavy use of steroid
creams doesn't *seem* quite of-a-piece with "perfect health"??? Maybe
I'm biased!
