This is the picture of Ferrum from the book Homeopathie en de
elementen by Scholten. It is a translation from the Dutch book so the
words may be a little different from the English version.
Here he combines the stage (column) with the serie (row).

The name is from the latin Ferrum, iron. It is the fourth most common
element om earth and the basic of all steal. It is been used sinds
prehistory, sinds the beginning of the ironera. The function of iron
is sinds ever from weapens and tools. And in that we see immediatly
two of tht main charactaristics of Ferrum: fighting and
taskpractising. It is the main construction material. It is used for
vihicles, machines, tools, furniture, brigdes, nails and screws. The
technic in our society would be unthinkable without iron. It is used
in more then 1000 alloys with other metals, all called a sort of
steal. Magnetism is the other important characteristic of iron.

Persevere in jour job: firm
They have the feeling to persevere in their job, they are firm. They
are considerably, brave, and straight. They push through, go on, no
matter how heavy their task is. They have the feeling to have to
stand up for something, persevere, stay put, comply duty. This is how
they are vigourous, do not hesitate. It is not so much that they want
to have the power, but their job has to be carried out very well.
Like the iron discipline, breaking iron with hands.
Persisting of the work
What they build up must be durable, strong and hard. It has to be
strong as they are strong theirselves. What they do has to be useful.
A heavy task: force
They have a heavy task, they have the feeling to force things to get
it done. That can be physical, they have to work hard as
constructionworker or blacksmith. A typical profession is that of
militair, soldier.
Carrie out of routines: discipline
To accomplish their task they have to work very orderly. They have a
lot to do and that is why they impose theirself an iron regulation.
They work with great discipline. They can organise very well and hate
a bad organisation and disorder.
Critisism is obstruction
They are very sensitive to critisism. They see that immediatly as
obstruction and get very irritated. They have to carrie out their
task do not want to be disturbed by distraction or obstruction. They
get irritated by controles, people or things get in the way,
disorder, noises, even light ones like rustling of newspaper. Even by
a little critic they have the feeling to get slapped. Physicaly they
are frightened, fear of being hit and accidents. In their youth they
were regulairly slapped by their father to get some discipline. If
they have critisism theirselves they bring that in a forced way, as
if they want to blow the other away. The other gets the feeling that
it is totaly useless to go against it.
Push through for an exam
They can work very hard for examinations. They live with the feeling
that they have to work very hard, have to learn still a lot before
they are ready for the exam. They have the idea that the exam will be
very heavy, that they have to go to the edge.
Persist to prevent failure
They have the idea to be pushed aside, loose their place if they
don't do it well. That they have to earn their place, not have
automatic the right for a place. They have the feeling that people go
over their boundary and get angry.
Failure by forcing to much
Because they force themselves so much it will go wrong. They get
overworked, stressed out. Because of their powerful attitude they get
much enemy's, by going totaly over them. Their iron discipline gets
way to far. What does not fit them gets washed away or pushed aside.
Then they loose vital parts and the totality does not function
anymore. They have the feeling to have failed an they give up.
Expression
Fears: failure, critisism, obstruction, looked at, anticipation,
cerebral hemorrhage, death, accident, crowd, people, frightful
Dreams: unsuccesful efforts, paralyse, tight straight cold lines,
battles, fights, games, war, water, falling, death, dead friends.
Delusions: huge surroundings, criminals, poisoned, war
Feeling: cheerful, restless, gloomy
Irritation: quarrelsome, scolding, insults, choleric, slow motion, > exertion, < noise
Complaints
Paralysis
Vertigo < wine, standing up
Head pain, every 14 days
Conjuncivitis, choroiditis, retinitis
Red cheeks < wine
Cough, mucus
Anemia, high and low bloodpressure
Stomachcomplaints, vomit without nausea
Livercomplaints, cirrosis, cancer. Diabetes
Diarrhea < eating
Artritis. Schouldercomplaints
Restless feet
Eczema
DD: stage 8, Arnica, Cadmiums, Rumex, Sulphur.
DD Manganum: has more space, lets others be. They have more space to
practice. Their criticism is more mild, is more constructive. Ferrum
is more drastically, it has to.
DD Kaliums: the boldness looks like the Kaliums. They also have the
strong duty. But by Kalium it is more like `I just have to do that' a
continual doing what they see as their duty.
With Ferrum it is more a feeling of force. They have to go on, they
can not give in.
DD Calciums: There is a clear relationship with the Calciums. It
looks like the sensitivity to others is a characteristic of the
chemical bivalent metals. As if the bivalentie comes back in the
relationship between two people. By the Calciums the reaction to this
sensitivity is more a hiding. With Ferrum the reaction is more
active, standing up for themselves.
